The ultimate guide on where to buy old school snacks in Singapore
by Jes @SnackFirst on Jul 13, 2017
This question has been buzzing around the forums and internet so I would want to answer this question once and for all. After all, these old school snacks are so tasty and give us such fond memories that we would want to stock up our kitchen, parties and office pantry with them.
Brick and mortar stores:
1) Teck Leong Lee Kee
Candies, lollipops, marshmallow, chocolates, crackers, chips, preserved fruits, cuttlefish, nuts, seaweed, drinks, pudding, jelly, bubbles, sparklers and completely a paradise for kids! You name it, they have it. They only take walk-in customers unless you can spend at least $200 for free delivery. Prices are affordable and good for people who stay nearby.
Some interesting snacks not commonly found in supermarkets are cola jelly, Hiro chocolate cake, Piring Wafer, satay fish stick.

2) Bakery, mama shop, local groceries stores
Some bakeries and groceries stores also carry some biscuits bought from wholesalers. They do not carry a wide variety but mostly the popular grades. Some of them make them on their own which have truly authentic, traditional flavours.
If you know of more shops, let us know and we will include them here.
